i’m better with writing french….which is bad… i have to spell out the words in my head .
Je ne comprends pas la science, masi je le trouve tres beau!
@jakefrancais oui vraiment ,sans aucun doute
I’m dutch, and I’m learning french! I understood the most you said there xd. Does anyone know what I should do to really progress my french skills? I mean, I know grammar and I can read and write french pretty well, but when I’m talking french with someone, it’s still very hard!
@loki2504 what did you smoke?
@spatznick j’ai fumé de la physique =)
@lehiochoa I think he means in the respect that both written French and English don’t really match up that well to what you would expect from listening to them spoken, and vice versa. Spanish, for instance, is pretty straight forward. Every letter is pronounced and is spelled exactly how it sounds being spoken.
@mattattack007 You’re right french spelling is very tricky. Let me give you an example:
sang,cent,sent,sans are all pronounced the same way ! would you guess that?
@loki2504 in Québec, sans and sans are pronounced differently than sent and cent. We say it with more an “a” sound then “e” sound.
i favourited this video beacause 6 months ago, this all sounded like a bunch of jibberish, but i now have lived in Montreal for 6 months, and i can now pick out each individual words and understand some of the video, i will come back to this video in 6 months and see if i can understand more. i really do recommend this video for serious learners.
caN U please upload more vids like this, u know science related! thanks beforehand
I can pick out words like donc, alors, ici, avec, apres, grande, et c’est bien and stuff like that. but he is too fast!
I learned to speack french with Parisien French from tapes and books and later from watching alot of movies from France. I understand him very well, partly because there are so many visuall aids and partly because he is sticking to one subject. On the other hand, when I watch French television here in Canada, I have alot of difficulty understanding the clipped and nasal qualities of Quebec French. It’s like learning to speak English and then trying to understand a thick Cockney accent. Yikes!
Je voudrais savoir plus de la termodynamique, s’il vous plaît, LOki… J’ai aimé cette leçon! Où est la continuation?
really? This is Belgian French? cool! I understood:L
@eauxement Well scientific french is standard =) but yeah this is from Belgium
@loki2504
En fait non, ces quatre mots ne se prononce pas tous de la même façon. SENT, SANG et SANS se disent en “en”, alors que CENT se dit en “ène”.
you must be joking
Excuse e, I’m learning french… Not engeneering. ><
You could make a lot of money if you teach two things at once, c’est a dire français et science.
@dSlashMetal luckily this video is in French! Happy learning!
omg. chuis américain. je me spécialise en allemand. je me sens parfois SANS ESPOIR dans mes cours avancés de français. mais j’ai tout compris ici. je vous adore. <333
